Photon Mass

Thursday, September 26th, 2013

One major consequence is no big bang, Vigier for example replaced big bang with his tired light hypothesis. Another major consequence is no Higgs boson, another is B(3) and so on. The Higgs boson is a contrivance arrived at by more than twenty adjustable parameters, and relies on the massless photon. The latter leads to the unphysical E(2) little group, meaning that space must be planar, which is nuts. That is why chemists question the health of physicists. UFT224 and UFT225 refute GWS theory in a very clear way, so both the electromagnetic and weak field sectors have gone. The strong field sectors is totally saturated with unobservables. More and more and more lurid mediaeval fantasises fill the newspapers.

Subj: RE: ECE Theory and Photonic Matter

Yes, what a photon with mass is is open to conjecture. We do know that nature tends to repeat itself and that matter tends to aggregate so it may be that photons with mass aggregate into clusters / photonic matter. This could provide a new way of explaining many of the properties of light.

Subject: ECE Theory and Photonic Matter

These are very interesting comments from Horst Eckardt. Photonic matter could mean photon mass.

This photonic matter sounds interesting and reminds me to ideas found in a book of an author named Cater. He claims that photons are oscillations of the ether and carry other structures with them: something like a “soft electron” with mass. This could build up the matter-like structures if it exists. This could also explain the ECE-finding for the Compton effect: As I remember the momentum conservation in an elastic scattering process requires that the photon mass is near to the electron mass. This would support both the ideas of Cater and the photonic matter hypothesis.

OK thanks again!

The calculations look good, I obtained the same results for r . A and r x A.

2nd Check of 250(1): A New Derivation of RFR

Thursday, September 26th, 2013

Thanks again, yes it is a factor of 16 in the denominator of eq. (15). Also agreed that it should be B squared in eq. (17). The B(0) in eq. (17) is derived originally from the electromagnetic potential. Eq. (36) is simply a model assumption made on the basis of dimensionality. More rigorously one can relate S(0) squared in eq. (35) to the power density as in previous work on RFR. Then we get the I / omega squared dependence again. In eq. (38) the B is that of a static magnetic field.

250(1): A New Derivation of RFR

Thursday, September 26th, 2013

This note reworks note 249(2) to give a new form of RFR, eq. (37), which is seen to be very similar to the well known result from the second order perturbation term in conventional theory. There can be no further doubt therefore of the existence of RFR, it emerges from the same Dirac equation of fermion equation as used for ESR and NMR.

Electron Spin Orbit Resonance

Thursday, September 26th, 2013

Prof. Warren S. Warren,
Department of Chemistry,
Duke University,

Dear Prof. Warren,

Please find attached our rapid communication to J. Found. Phys. Chem. announcing the inference of electron spin orbit resonance. It is co authored with Dr. Horst Eckardt of the Siemens Company in Munich. We are currently working on extending it to NMR. It may be of great potential utility in increasing the resolution of these techniques, which was our aim in the late eighties and early nineties. I spent a year in the University of Zurich as you know, then returned to Cornell Theory Center and became a Professor of physics at UNCC, then President of AIAS. I was appointed a Civil List Pensioner by Prime Minister Tony Blair in 2005 at the discretion of Queen Elizabeth for distinguished service to science, and was raised to Armiger in 2008 (www.aias.us). You detected B(3) in your experiments, although the shifts were tiny, they were exactly in the range predicted by B(3) theory. The latter developed into Einstein Cartan Evans unified field theory which has attracted thirty million readings in the last decade. As you can see ESOR is a novel form of electron resonance, probably with a novel chemical shift pattern. It emerged frm a careful consideration of the usual hamiltonian for the interaction of one electron with the magnetic field. Its very remarkable feature is that it emerges on the classical level and can be searched for with standard FTESR spectrometers. I am working on the NMR equivalent now.

Cordially Yours

Computer Checking the Addendum to Note 249(2) : Rotating Sample ESR

Wednesday, September 25th, 2013

Many thanks again, the problem as you rightly point out is the use of A =(1/2) B x r, so I will have a little think about this, and use a different type of A in the original hamiltonian (24) so as to give a real valued hamiltonian.

Subj: Re: Addendum to Note 249(2) : Rotating Sample ESR

With this definition of B, the factor

(r . A) * (r x A)

gives the zero vector. Obviously B has to be defined differently.
A closer inspection gives that the scalar product r.A is zero. This comes from the definition

A = 1/2 B x r

which gives

2 r . A = r . ( B x r) = (B x r) . r = B . (r x r) = 0

which is a general result for a triple product if two vectors are equal. This seems to be a general problem for the definition of A from the induction vector B.

Addendum to Note 249(2) : Rotating Sample ESR

Wednesday, September 25th, 2013

Although this note was not used in UFT249, it is best to rework it with computer algebra using the potential (6) which gives the rotating magnetic field (3) which rigorously obeys eq. (2). I can then post the results of the computer algebra on the blog. This part of note 249(2) was used only for illustration, but it is of course best to get it rigorously correct.
