394(1): Shivering Dipole Magnetic Potential and Flux Density

This note extends the new subject of electrodynamics in the presence of the vacuum to the magnetic dipole potential and flux density. Far from a current loop the result is Eq. (26), which contains the mean square fluctuation of the vacuum magnetic flux density. This is always the observable B. Similarly the dipole electric field strength in the presence of the vacuum is given by Eq. (27). In the first instance the mean square fluctuation <delta r dot delta r> can be used as an input parameter. Later on it can be calculated using statistical mechanics, and for example Brownian motion theory as in the first publications of my Omnia Opera on www.aias.us. Horst’s first class graphics of these dipole fields can be extended to include vacuum effects in this way. The note also calculates the vector spin connections or vacuum maps. These hand calculations should of course be checked with computer algebra when Horst returns from vacation, and has time. Note carefully that whenever any E or B is measured, it includes vacuum effects. There can be great confidence in this zitterbewegung theory because it is famously successful in the Lamb shift. The whole of physics can now be developed using this shivering or zitterbewegung theory.

This paper initiates a new phase of ECE2 and indeed a new physics, by extending the well known theory of the Lamb shift to all of macroscopic physics, beginning with ECE2 electrostatics and the dipole potential and field. The dipole potential from the vacuum is calculated from the mean square vacuum fluctuations, and this is given by the second term on the RHS of Eq. (37). The potential energy from the vacuum is the potential multiplied by a charge. This theory is ideal for computer algebra and graphics because it quickly becomes complicated, but nevertheless straightforward. There is no reasonable doubt that there is energy in the vacuum (UFT311, UFT321,UFT364, UFT382, UFT383). 393(6): Shivering Electric Dipole Field in the Presence of the Vacuum

This is Eq. (27) to first order in x of the binomial expansion of previous notes. The zitterbewegung theory results in a very rich structure and a completely new subject: the zitterbewegung or shivering theory of macroscopic electrodynamics in the presence of the vacuum. This theory is ideal for computer algebra because the calculations quickly become laborious. My hand calculations for UFT393 should be checked as usual by computer algebra, and graphed, when Horst returns from vacation. The effect of the vacuum is very intricate, and the vacuum is ubiquitous and ever present. Note carefully that this is the same theory as used to calculate the Lamb shift with great accuracy. So there is great confidence in the theory.
